Fleetcor, an NYSE-listed business payments and spend management company, saw an opportunity to lead the shift toward EV and digital payments. As digitisation and decarbonisation reshape the industry, Fleetcor needed to harness these waves of change to modernise, innovate, and deliver new value to customers.
Since 2021, and jump has partnered with Fleetcor to embed customer-centric innovation into their digital strategy. Through experience design, rapid prototyping, and strategic insight, we’ve helped unlock new opportunities that accelerate their EV leadership and digital transformation goals.

Phase 2
Digital Vision, Experience Strategy & Roadmap
We united creativity, analytical rigour, and evidence to craft a vision and experience strategy that the business could get behind — and confidently execute.
We started with deep market and audience analysis, uncovering patterns, trends, and competitive gaps. Using our digital performance methodology, we benchmarked Fleetcor against its sector, analysing 12,000 data points to identify strengths, opportunities, and areas of differentiation.
Armed with insight, we led vision workshops with leadership and management, helping teams think differently, build empathy, and redefine how Fleetcor creates value in a changing market.
This became the springboard for transformation. We mapped the end-to-end experience across four global regions, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. The outcome? A practical high-impact roadmap to unite payments and mobility.
We played back findings, got buy-in, and started making key opportunities, real.

The Race to Net Zero Is Reshaping Logistics
The transition to greener business models is no longer optional; however, 80% of UK businesses are SMEs that lack the capability and capacity to make this shift.
Our research revealed that the experience of switching to electric scored just 3.8 out of 10—a clear signal that the current journey is broken.
Fleet operators are calling for smarter tools, clearer information, and connected systems to manage assets and navigate the transition.

Phase 3
Digital Innovation in Electric Vehicle
Fleet operators face mounting pressure to transition to greener business models and adopt EVs. Yet many—especially SMEs—lack the tools, data, and technology to make the shift confidently.
Fleetcor asked and jump to innovate new EV features for their online platform, helping customers navigate this transition seamlessly.
We ran our custom design sprint, identifying opportunities and developing a new service that puts customer needs at the heart. First-hand research was a game-changer. By deeply understanding the challenges of fleet operators, we uncovered breakthrough EV ideas and validated solutions that weren’t only innovative but also genuinely worked.
More than a sprint—it became a catalyst. The process united teams, built confidence, and validated Fleetcor’s experience strategy.
The result? A roadmap to be the leader in EV.

New Product & Content System
The experience strategy confirmed that the fleet industry is at a turning point. Digitisation and fintech-inspired experiences are essential for businesses to operate effectively.
With the 2030 Net-Zero target approaching, Fleetcor saw an opportunity to lead the transition and position itself as a pioneer in electric vehicle (EV) and business payments.
To make this vision a reality, they asked us to create a new digital brand and experience for Allstar—the UK’s market-leading fuel, EV, and expense card provider, serving businesses with 1.2 million cards in circulation.
Customers rely on Allstar for payments, real-time fuel pricing, and industry insights. To strengthen and scale this proposition, we designed a modular digital brand, product, and content system—for Allstar and designed to scale across the global business.
By combining strategy, experience design, and technology, we helped Allstar evolve into a future-ready, customer-centric platform, reinforcing its leadership in the fleet and payments space.
